My love for health and wellness started while competing in track and field, playing basketball and soccer. I love the dynamics of teamwork, competition and goal setting.
The seed was sewn and the desire to achieve my own goals began to grow. I wanted to be the best version of myself. I set short term goals and smashed them. I set long term goals and achieved those too.
Reaching these milestones was challenging, however, I proved to myself I could do anything I set my mind to. For example, five years ago I would have never imagined being on social media flexing in some shorts and a sports bra or a teeny tiny bikini…but here I am! I am in awe because I have come a long way physically, mentally and spiritually.
I now know that when life knocks me around a little bit…exercise is my outlet. Five years ago, I was not satisfied with my body image so I created an attainable goal, committed to it and stopped at nothing until I achieved it. My professional mission is to help you overcome your obstacles so that you too can fulfill your fitness goals!
Nothing external can hold you back unless you allow it. That’s why the mind-body-soul connection is so powerful. I incorporate the mind-body-soul connection into my own workouts and do the same for my clients. I believe that it’s important for those three components to be in sync in order to live your best life and to be the best version of yourself. I want nothing more than to live a life that is happy, healthy and balanced.
